Meg Benson of Music Hunter says "live music is a social vaccine against isolation, not just for audiences, but also for muso's. It's about those moments of magic between musicians and audiences, a special relationship that simply must continue in today's world. Music Hunter is proud to guarantee musicians a fee at industry rates and thrilled to call downstairs at Avalon "home" for this weekly series of Afternoon Delights for limited numbers of adventurous listeners each week". Meg recommends the mulled wine, the exceptional spring rolls and the cheese and walnut plates and of course assures you that there will be table service while you sip your mulled wine to take orders upon arrival by 3.15pm for serving in the break. A discreet wave of the hand to the friendly bar staff will be ok on occasions between songs, during the sets.
