Peter Hollo is a cellist and electronic musician from Sydney. He has over 25 years of experience making non-classical music, from the rock and internationalist music of FourPlay String Quartet to the pioneering hybrid electronic/post-rock/improv of Tangents. In Peter's solo project raven, improvised cello is embedded and woven into electronic processing. Melodies are sampled and played back to create deep orchestral textures, and then broken into stuttering, glitching pieces alongside sub-bass and mashed beats.
